Streak CRM pricing explained (2026): what the Gmail-native CRM really costs
Streak lives inside Gmail, which makes it the lowest-friction CRM for teams that already run their business from the inbox. But its pricing has two traps most reviews skip: the free plan has no pipelines at all, and every member of your team must sit on the same paid tier. Here is the full breakdown.
The four plans (verified October 23, 2026)
- Free — $0. Gmail-only. Email and link tracking, snippets, mail merge limited to 50 emails/day, Streak Share links, Thread Splitter. Crucially: no CRM pipelines. It is an email toolbox, not a CRM, until you pay.
- Pro — $49/user/month annual ($59 monthly). Unlocks pipelines, unlimited contacts and records, standard reports, 20 AI credits per user per month, mail merge up to 1,500/day.
- Pro+ — $69/user/month annual ($89 monthly). Adds integrations (Zapier, Calendly, Slack), automations, advanced reports, 150 AI credits, and archived-user support.
- Enterprise — $129/user/month annual ($159 monthly). Custom permissions, data validation rules, 500 AI credits, webhooks.
Trap one: the free plan is a demo, not a CRM
Most "free CRM" write-ups treat Streak's free tier as a usable starting point. It is not. Pipelines — the core of any CRM — are paid-only. If your sales process is "track deals through stages," the free plan cannot do the one thing you downloaded it for. What it can do free: see who opened your emails, save snippets, and mail-merge 50 messages a day. Useful for outreach, useless for pipeline management.
Trap two: the whole team rides one plan
Streak requires all members of a team to be on the same tier. You cannot buy one Pro+ seat for the sales lead and park everyone else on Free. For a 5-person team, the real decision is "5 × Pro" or nothing — which is why the per-seat math below matters more than the sticker price.
Monthly math at 3, 8, and 20 people (annual billing)
| Team size | Pro | Pro+ | Enterprise |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3 people | $147/mo | $207/mo | $387/mo |
| 8 people | $392/mo | $552/mo | $1,032/mo |
| 20 people | $980/mo | $1,380/mo | $2,580/mo |
At 20 seats, Streak Pro+ costs more per year than many standalone CRMs with far deeper features. The trade you are making is zero adoption friction: no new tab, no export/import dance, training measured in minutes.
The quiet upsell: AI credits
Every paid tier includes a monthly AI credit allowance (Pro 20, Pro+ 150, Enterprise 500 per user). Credits are team-pooled, do not roll over, and top-up packs are steep: 1,000 credits costs $100/month. If your team leans on AI box summaries or bulk research, price that habit in before committing to Pro — 20 credits per person evaporates in days.
Which tier actually makes sense
- Pro ($49) is the honest default for small teams that live in Gmail and need pipelines plus reporting. Integrations are the main thing you give up.
- Pro+ ($69) is the practical minimum if you rely on Zapier, Calendly, or Slack — those integrations are locked out of Pro. Check your automation stack before choosing.
- Enterprise ($129) is for compliance-driven teams. Data validation and custom permissions are real features, but rare needs under 20 seats.
- Free only if what you want is email superpowers, not a CRM. In that case it is genuinely good and free forever.
Who should not buy Streak
- Teams whose pipeline data must flow into other systems. Streak's data model is Gmail-native; if you need deep API workflows on a budget, Pro's standard REST API may frustrate you — webhooks start at Pro+.
- Anyone needing per-seat plan mixing. If one or two people would use the CRM and the rest would not, a per-seat-priced standalone CRM is cheaper.
- Outlook or non-Gmail shops. Streak is Gmail-only. That is the product.
What we cannot verify
Plan limits and prices above come from Streak's own pricing page, verified October 23, 2026; prices change and we re-check quarterly. Our hands-on testing cycle is still in progress — the full review will add account screenshots, real setup-time measurements, and the friction points our How We Test process requires. We cannot yet speak to long-term deliverability of mail-merge sends or support quality at each tier.
